An Enormous Collection of Hundreds of Documents - the Zionist Movement. Israel, 1930's-40's
Before us is an enormous collection of printed leaves, handwritten letters and many stencil printed documents [some of them official] from the activists of the various national revival movements in the years prior to the establishment of the State of Israel, and from 1948.
Among the documents before us we will mention: handwritten letters from activists from the "Tarbut" federation from the 1930's, financial receipts from various Zionist organizations, typewritten lectures from various activists, explanatory leaves from the cultural services of the IDF from 1948 in stencil printing [the military man, the future settler, absorption and development opportunities in the State of Israel and more], protocols of meetings of popular movements, publications from the Fighting Economy organization, the Hebrew Scouts Federation in Israel, and the General Zionist Federation.
In addition: handwritten lists of accounts of income and expenses of Zionist organizations in Europe [1936], handwritten protocols of various meetings of national leadership [Gymnasiya Shalva, June 1947 and more], Zionist documents written in German [typewritten and handwritten - 1930's], receipts for donation of equipment [the Israeli Scouts], the Hebrew economic struggle - letters from various activists, protocols of Shevet HaBonim B'Eretz Yisrael ["Internal and most confidential"] and more.
There is also a collection of uncommon booklets [issues of HaChevel HaYami L'Yisrael May 1948 and more], some of which were published once and categorized under the title "Internal, members only", leaves "For the Guide" from various youth groups, typewritten and more.
Most of the documents and the historical printed items before us are rare and do not appear in the National Library.
The collection has not been thoroughly checked. Some of the documents have aging stains.
Overall moderate-fine condition.
