A. Collection of complete rows of Israeli postage stamps, 1971-1997. Most likely, a complete or almost complete collection of these years. Excellent condition.
Includes the souvenir sheets, 2-3 of each sheet.
A few serieses from earlier years.
High nominal value of stamps in New Israeli Shekel.
B. Collection of First Day Covers Knesset member.
The covers were collected by Knesset member Ben Zion Harel of the "General Zionists". He was a member of the second and third Knesset. In those years, the Israel Philatelic Service udes to send the First Day Covers of Israeli stamps to Knesset memebers and public figures. These covers bear the typewritten name and address of the addressee.
Before us is a collection of such covers, which were sent to Knesset member Ben Zion Harel when he served as a Knesset member and later. There are also a few interesting covers which were sent to Knesset member Eliyahu Ganhovsky of "Ha'Mizrachi", who was also a Knesset member of the first Knesset.
Close to 200 covers.
Condition: Very Good.

In addition, a special envelope: Minhelet Ha'Am, with three postage stamps of the Jewish State - 5, 10, 25 Mil. Postmark of the Jerusalem postal service. 13.5.1948. The envelope was sent to Tel Aviv, to a physician who worked with Dr. Hershkowitz [the would-be Knesset member Harel]. With a postmark indicating its arrival in Tel Aviv on 21.6.1948!
