Kitvei Kodesh - Slonim Hassidism - Printed when the Bad News of the Rebbe's Murder had Arrived! With Letters of Support following the Crisis - Germany, 1948

"Holy letters by our holy rabbis of Slonim". Published immediately after the Holocaust in 1945. Before us is the second edition, which differs significantly from the first edition. The book was printed by the Slonim Hassidim. During its printing they received the terrible news about the Rebbe's murder, a fact which is reflected in that at the beginning of the book he is called "Shalita" while at the end he is mentioned with "ֳƒֲƒֳ‚ֲ₪ֳƒֲƒֳ‚ֲ©"ֳƒֲƒֳ‚ֲ£"!
The Rebbe was murdered on 4.11.1943.
Two painful letters, by the committee of the Slonim Hassidim in the Land of Israel and by Rabbi Mordechai Chaim of Slonim and Rabbi Yisrael Zalman Ha'Levi Shlovsky, are printed in the book. The letters are painful yet try to console the broken Hassidim.
