Manuscript - "Nechamot Yerushalayim" - Divrei Torah, Mussar, the Love of the Torah and Stories about Rabbi Zvi Michel Shapira and the Rabbis of Jerusalem - Has Never been Printed
The booklet "Nechamot Yerushalayim" - a notebook that contains Divrei Torah on Mussar and Aggadah, commentary on the Torah and more. Integrated are also exceptional, unknown stories about the rabbis of the generation, headed by the pious genius Rabbi Zvi Michel Shapira, the author's rabbi. this important composition has never been printed!
The booklet was written during the years 1901-1902, as in noted at the beginning of several of its chapters, by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Weisfish, the disciple of Rabbi Shapira.

The exceptional stories in the booklet open a window to the sublime world of the most prominent rabbis of Jerusalem and can teach practical behavior.
Following is a story that might serve as an example:
"by the way I shall mention what had happened during a visit of the well-known pious genius …. Eliyahu David Shalita (the Aderet) to Jerusalem, who was apparently in Jaffa, and a meal was fixed for him and the people of Jerusalem who welcomed him asked him whether the Psalm "Al Neharot Bavel" should be said during Birkat Ha'Mazon, since it is a happy day due to his visit…"

The author mentions, again and again, "our rabbi in exile Shalita" [Rabbi Zvi Michel Shapira] and presents Divrei Torah by the Vilna Gaon and Divrei Torah he had heard by Rabbi Nachum of Szadek and the Maharil Diskin of Brisk.
(On the figure of Rabbi Zvi Michel Shapira see previous item)

At the end of the notebook, Rabbi Weisfish wrote a special chapter titled "Seder Ha'Adam" - "a copy of Seder Ha'Adam I had written … 1902 …"
Among others, he refers in this chapter to his forefathers and Rabbi Zundel of Salant.
