Letter from HaRav HaTzaddik Rabbi Dovid Tzvi Chen av"d Chernigov
Letter from Rabbi Chaim Dovid Zvi Chen sent to his daughter in Jerusalem [1925] describing his attempts to immigrate to Palestine.

Rabbi Chaim Dovid Tzvi Chen was the av"d in Chernigov and known as the "Radatz". His father, Rabbi Peretz Chen, was a disciple of the Mitteler Rebbe and the Zemach Tzedek. He was a chassid of the Rebbe Maharash and was one of the few who received smicha from him, and a unique blessing from the Tzemach Tzedek (Refer to "Sefer HaSichot", 1931, p. 223). He was known as a unique chassid and tzaddik who had many distinguished disciples. He passed away in Jerusalem on the 24th of Kislev, 1926.
