On a partially printed document, Jourdan in his capacity as General and Administrator of the Piemont, states `I kindly invite you to go to the Torino National Library and take the following two designated works: 1º The Polyglot Bible, and a Hebrew work entitled Jerebv Ascher; those works have been claimed by the Arts Commission..´ further saying `..and you will have to give them to the Interior Minister of the French Republic in order to be kept at the national Library.´ Extremely small age wear and creasing, and one small tear to the right edge, otherwise G £80-100
