A. Be'er Moshe. By Rabbi Moshe Frankel (1739-1812). Berlin, 1803. Single edition.
Responsa regarding the law that a husband inherits his wife in what is held in possession but not in what will fall due. Rabbi rejected his conclusion accusing him of relying on the responsa of the "Ginat Vradim", which he seemingly made up.
Therefore, in the four last leaves that had been added to the book after its printing, he wrote an answer to his critiques and printed the complete responsa of the "Ginat Vradim" as well as responsa of additional Achronim on the subject, thus refuting the claims of his critiques.
(2), 16, (4) leaves. 21 cm.
Condition: Fair-Good. The last leaf is missing and completed with nice handwriting. No binding.
B. Ohalei Ya'akov Responsa. By Rabbi Ya'akov Costaro. Livorno, 1783. Single edition.
With approbations by the most prominent rabbis including the Chida.
Rabbi Ya'akov Costaro one of the well-known rabbis of Egypt, author of "Erech Lechem". When he was in Safed he stayed with the "Beut Yosef" and in his books, he mentions customs that he had seen there.
(10) 194 leaves. 22 cm.
Condition: Good-Fair. Several leaves are damaged.
