Mishnat Chachamim - Wandsbeck, 1733 - First Edition

Only part one was printed, of Mishnat Chachamim on 24 of the levels of Torah.
Rabbi Moshe Chagiz (known as HaMeniach) son of Rabbi Yaakov Chagiz (author of "Halachot Ktanot") was born in Jerusalem in 1672, learned from his grandfather the head of the Rabbis of Jerusalem Rabbi Moshe Galanti (HaMagen) and from Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak, for fifty years he wandered around different countries of the world: Italy, Holland and Germany, and did many actions for the sake of G-d and His Torah. He also wrote the books "Shtei HaLechem", "Leket HaKemach" and more. He was a close friend of the Chacham Zvi and his son Rabbi Yaakov Emden, and fought against the Shabbtaism which was prevalent at the time. According to the Chida's report he lived a long life of close to ninety years. Great rabbis loved this book very much and it was published in additional editions with the approbations of the "Divrei Chaim" of Sanz and Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Safrin of Komarno (Czernowitz, 1864).
