Pendant of the United Charities - Rare
Silver pendant engraved on both its sides. On one side the inscription: אם" mother" and under it: "ירושלים Jerusalem".
On the other side: "אב father" and under it: "untied charity inst".
At the center of the pendant, on both sides, a relief of a tombstone shaped as the Two Tablets of Stone and around it, trees and flowers. Under the tombstone, an inscription "תנצב"ה".
The "United Charities" united the important Jewish institutions of the old Yishuv of Jerusalem – the "Etz Chaim" Talmud Torah and Yeshiva and the "Bikkur Cholim" Hospital.
The pendant was given to the friends of the institution.
Condition: Very Good.
