Two Issues of "Olami Ha'Ketantan" - Warsaw, 1939
"Olami Ha'Ketantan" (My Tiny World). Editors: Shmuel Rosenheck and Yochanan Indelman.
Issues no. 1 and t, published by "express", Warsaw, 1939.
A fortnightly publication that was published by the central committee of the educational network "Tarbut" in Poland and which was designated for children of the first and second grades.
Its "older brother", "Olami Ha'Katan" (My Small World) was designated for older children.
These issues contain poems and short vowelized passages dealing with the values of Zionism and tradition, accompanied by many illustrations.
Only eight issues of "Olami Ha'Ketantan" were published. Before us are the first and seventh issues.
All the issues were published in 1939, when Jewish Warsaw was still teeming with life and cultural activity.
These issues express the Jewish life there and the values of Zionism supported by the "culture".
Several months after the first issue of the journal was published, World War II broke out and the publishing of the journal stopped.
Rare!
