The Rebbe pleads with the president, Dr. Chaim Weizmann, and the ministers of the government regrading matters of religion in the newly-founded State of Israel. Especially interesting content.
The Rebbe Rabbi Shalom Moshkovitz (1878-1958), one of the greatest Rebbes in his generation. He was a rabbi in Shotz since 1908 and was the teacher of Rabbi Meir Shapira of Lublin, the founder of the "Daf Yomi". Since 1927, he was a Rebbe in London. He wrote many books on the Talmud and the Torah, Hassidism and more.
