In tractate Tan'anit (page 20) is a correction in his handwriting. In the inside of the front cover are two Torah novaelle on tractate Pesachim, most likely in the handwriting of Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib Tikitinsky.
Ancient signature in pencil on the endpapers at the end of the book.
Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib Tikitinsky (1824-1899), one of the great scholars of Lithuania and the Rosh Yeshiva of Mir for 50 years, from 1850 until his death. At the young age of 26 he began delivering lectures and was appointed as the Rosh Yeshiva of Mir. Rabbi Yisrael Slanter would say about him that anyone who wants to understand a page of Gemara properly, should go and learn from Rabbi Chaim Leib. The Netziv of Volozhin loved his learning, and students of the Mir Yeshiva who arrived in Volozhin would receive extra affection as a result. On his tombstone is written that he "Taught thousands of students, many of whom are great Rabbis".
