The Will of a Jewish Resident of Hebron - 1854
A will in the handwriting of a Jew called Mordechai Spitzer, who lived for a certain period of time in Hebron, in which he instructs what to do with his possessions and assets which remained in Hebron after he left the city, amongst them his Shtreimel and Siddur. Some of his possessions are placed in the Syanagogue in Hebron.
Amongst others he mentions Rabbi Aryah Chabad and Mr Arsher, residents of Hebron.
At the bottom of the will is the sick man's signature, and the witness's signature: "Avraham of Lomza".
