The Large, Splendid Yeshiva "Darchei Noam", Gur – Booklet on the Yeshiva with letters of Rebbes about its Importance – Warsaw 1909 – Rare
Detailed description of the large yeshiva of Gur in the city of Gur (region of Warsaw) and its importance. With letters of rabbis and rebbes praising the yeshiva: Rabbi Avraham Zvi Perlmutter (who notes that such a yeshiva cannot be found anywhere else in Poland), Rabbi Yizchak Feigenbaum, Rabbi Meir Yechiel Ha'Levi of Otsrowiec, the Rebbe of Gur, the "Imrei Emet", Rabbi Avraham Mordechai Alter and many others.
Booklets such as the one before us were given to emissaries on behalf of the yeshiva for fundraising purposes.
Ownership signature: "Avraham Alter of Gur" (the signature is erased with lines).
