A book written by Rabbi Gershon ben Shlomo from France (one of the rabbis of the 'Rishonim'), the father of the Ralbag, and the father in law of Nachmanides. The book deals with the wisdom of nature, of tchuna and of G-dliness.
"He opened his mouth with wisdom: and he spoke about the birds and the animals, and about all of the crawling creatures who crawl on the earth; and about everyone who has a soul, and about the mountains and the fog and the heavens, and about the earth and the wind and fire and water, and about snow and hail and clouds, and he spoke about the trees and about the rocks, and about all kinds of trees and plants".
The edition before us was printed with no note of place and year, but it seems it was printed in Lemberg around the year 1870. Despite this, on the title page is written: "printed in the pinnacle of beauty in new letters here Jerusalem the Holy City", next to a drawing of the Temple Mount, the Western Wall and the Mount of Olives! This forged writing is rare and is not found in all of the copies!
[48] pages.
Condition: Very Good. Without a cover. Stamp of ownership on the title page of the book.
