Chavatzelet Ha'Sharon – Alshich Ha'Kadosh – Wandsbek 1727 – Signature and Early Inscriptions
Commentary of the Book of Daniel by Rabbi Moshe Alshich. Typographic changes between the copies of this edition, in the title page and inside the book.
On the title page there is an ownership inscription: "I have bought the book from … Yitzchak … Avraham Zonta".
Paper snippets are glued to the inner and outer cover. These were taken from an early agreement between an important rabbi and the publishers who published his book. Among the half-sentences that had survived: "such famous rabbis" and "the expiry time of the above agreements". With glosses on the margins of the agreement. Hebrew and Yiddish. The identity of the writer has not been explored. It may be that he is one of the greatest rabbis.
Size: 33 cm.
[2], 47 pp.
Condition: Good. Several pages are slightly torn. The cover is worn out and loose.
