Collection of More Than 40 Prints and Engravings Signed by the Painter Sioma Bram, Colored and Black and White, Most of Them from his Series of Drawings of Jerusalem – 1960's – 80's
Sioma Baram (1919 – 1980) was an Israeli painter. Born in Kishinev with the name Sioma Buberman. In the year 1939 he immigrated to Israel. He leant art under Aharon Avni. He is known for his series of pictures of Jerusalem. He displayed in individual exhibitions and group exhibitions in London, Paris, Tokyo, Luzern, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. After his death and the death of his wife, the gallery Baram – Brazil was established. "the fund to encourage creativity in the young artist in the name of Bella Brazila and Sioma Baram" was also established.
Many of the prints are of his famous Jerusalem series. Different sizes: some small, some medium.
