Novellae on the Mishna, Sefer Yetzira, Braita De'Rabbi Yishmael, Torat Kohanim and more. By Rabbi Gedalya Lifshitz Av Beit Din Chadzish (1746-1826), genius and kabbalist, the son of Rabbi Yisrael Lifshitz, the rabbi of Kleve and the father of the author of 'Tiferet Yisrael'. Single edition. A facsimile edition was printed in recent years.
The book contains Kabbalist illustrations. At the end of the book there is a poem by its author.
The book belonged to the Davidson family of Warsaw. On the title page there are stamps and a handwritten signature, probably of Rabbi Yosef Davidson (the son of Rabbi Chaim Davidson Av Beit Din Warsaw), a Torah scholar and important lord, one of the closest people to Rabbi shlomo Kloger.
The signature might be of his brother, Rabbi Naftali Davidson.
The book contains a gloss in handwriting similar to that of the above-mentioned signature.
Condition: Very Good. The title page is missing and professionally restored. The first page is also restored.
