Yechi Reuven. Mahari"d of Belz. First Edition. With a Blessing for Children, Health and Sustenance. Munkacs, 1936

"They shall be blessed with three blessings: long life, abundant sustenance and blessed children ..." (The Belzer Rebbe, in his approbation)

Yechi Reuven - Torah thoughts from the Admo"r, the Mahari"d of Belz, by the gaon Rabbi Reuven Chaim son of Yitzchak Tzvi z"l [Weinberger]. Part I, on Tractate Chagigah. With approbations by the son, the Admo"r Rabbi Aharon of Belz; and the Admo"r the author of Ahavat Yisrael of Vizhnitz; who bless the buyers with rare blessings.

"Including sermons and essays according to midrashim, and true words from our rabbis ... disciples of the Besh"t z"l that I heard from the tzaddkim of Belz [Rabbi Yissachar Dov Rokeach] ztz"l, that Hash-m granted me to interpret and elucidate in the smallness of my mind, Reuven Chaim son of Rabbi Yitzchak Tzvi z"l [Weinberger]."

This book, as mentioned, is accompanied by the enthusiastic approbation of Rabbi Aharon of Belz, blessing its purchasers "[that it will] bring blessing into their home and they will be blessed with three blessings - long life, abundant sustenance and blessed children." The approbation from the Admo"r, the author of Ahavat Yisrael of Vizhnitz, contains blessings for the purchasers: "this mitzvah is worthwhile to protect them for the good and may they be blessed from the source of all blessing and good influences and a blessing of goodness will come upon them."

The author was one of the senior Chassidim of the Admo"r, the Mahari"d of Belz, who elucidated several verses, midrashim and aggadeta according to the Torah thoughts he heard from his great rabbi. He came to ask the Admo"r Rabbi Aharon of Belz about printing it, because "he was fearful in his soul about attaching his work to these holy thoughts without [the Rebbe's] agreement" and [the Rebbe] said it was fitting to disseminate them among the Jews, and blessed the author.
