Sefer Yad Yosef - Stamp of Author Rabbi Yossef Tuvia Abramovitch
Rabbi Yossef Tuvia Abramovitch, an outstanding sage. Born in Kelm (Lithuania). Came to England and served for 22 years as Shochet in Manchester. Wrote his important book about laws of slaughter and inedibility of lungs. The book was printed in Poltava in 1913, but due to World War I events only three copies remained in the author's hands (as told in the introduction). In 1928 Rabbi Yossef Tuvia came to Jerusalem where his book was reprinted.
