English Etched 'Order of the Garter' Officers Sabre, 1803
An early 1800s, British officers sabre decorated with a well gilt-etched design to either side one of the 'Order of the Garter' and other etched with crowned sovereign's cypher "GR" underneath a royal crown. Red jewel inside lion pommels mouth. Sword overall 34 1/2" L, blade is 29 1/4" L
