Hasui Kawase "Snow at Hie Shrine Tokyo" Woodblock
Hasui Kawase (Japanese, 1883-1957). Japanese woodblock print titled "Shato no yuki (Hie jinja)" or "Snow at Hie Shrine" depicting a snowy landscape with two figures walking towards a shrine, 1932. Watanabe Publisher seal along the lower left.
Height: 15 1/4 in x width: 10 1/4 in.
Condition: There are no major tears, creases, or losses. There are two minute losses along the left margin. There are two small dark spots in the lower right corner of the margin. Along the verso there is a small area of adhesive residue along the right edge of the lower right quadrant. There are no signs of restoration under UV light. Not framed.
