12 NASA Transparency 70mm Film Slides & Color Neg.
Group of 11 NASA 70mm transparency film slides and one color negative including four framed with archival mats, five archivally matted, and three without mats or frames. The framed works including a photograph of the earth from space, two depicting the surface of the moon, and one earthrise numbered 83-HC-227. The matted works include two views of the earth, one eclipse, one moon rock or boulder, and one lunar crater. Additional works include a slide of an Apollo 12 patch or badge, one photograph depicting an artwork depicting a rocket launch and labeled "NASA Space Art 77," and one color negative of the Apollo Saturn V rocket booster under construction at the North American Rockwell Manufacturing Plant.
Unframed; height ranges from 2 1/2 in to 4 in; width ranges from 2 1/2 in to 5 in. Sight; height ranges from 1 3/4 in to 3 3/4 in; width ranges from 1 3/4 in to 4 1/2 in. Matted or Framed; height ranges from 10 in to 13 1/2 in; width ranges from 8 in to 13 1/2 in.
