Original 70mm NASA color positive transparency film display depicting a view of Earth, also known as the "Blue Marble." From the Apollo 17 mission. Dated December 7, 1972 to December 19, 1972. From flight CSM-114 LM-12. Mounted in frame number AS17-148-22727.
Sight; height: 2 1/4 in x width: 2 1/4 in. Matted; height: 8 3/4 in x width: 5 1/2 in.
Condition: The transparency is in fair condition. There are no tears, creases, or losses. The colors and bold and bright when lit. There are vertical lines throughout the work, visible when lit. There are light scratches throughout. Along the left margin there are two handling marks. Not inspected out of frame. The frame is in excellent condition with no tears, creases, or losses.
