Long 4 Page Letter by The gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Frankel of Chust - with his Signature
The gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Frankel of Chust was a son of the gaon Rabbi Eliyahu Frankel Av Beit Din of Levelek, author of Ateret Eliyahu, Orot Elim and Avnei Eliyahu [primary disciple of Rabbi Tz. H. of Liska], son-in-law of the gaon and tzaddik Rabbi Moshe Shimon Roth, Av Beit Din of Droye. He was raised by his father, father-in-law, and grandfather, the gaon and tzaddik Rabbi Yoel Tzvi Roth of Chust. He assisted the latter in the rabbinate and published his responsa, Beit HaYotzer, and also wrote a preface for them. He ascended to Jerusalem in 1900 and served as a dayan in Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld's rabbinical court. He delivered lectures in the Ohel Moshe yeshivah founded by Rabbi Yehoshua Leib Diskin and the rosh kollel of Munkacs. [Refer to the Darkei Teshuvah's approbation to Aderet Eliyahu.] He passed away in Jerusalem in 1931. He published his father's works: Avnei Eliyahu, Orot Elim and Aderet Eliyahu with his own glosses - entitled "VaYeater Yitzchak."
