Lavanda degolada "concha", prata séc.XIX, P.992g
Cut-off lavender in the shape of a shell, in Portuguese silver, early 19th century. Cut edge and decorated with beaded frieze. With Oporto assay mark (P-18.0), dating from around 1803 to 1810 and IRC maker’s mark (P-380.0a), attributable to João Rodrigues da Costa Negreiros, from the same period. Small dents, scratches and signs of use. Weight approx.: 992 g.; Dim. approx.: 34.5 x 32 cm.
