Tea set in Portuguese silver, 19th century, composed of teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug and bowl of drops. Body decorated with friezes, with raised or guillocheted fruit, and borders with flowers. Stands on four ball feet, teapot with carved wooden handle. With a contrasting mark from Porto (P-35.0), in use from c.1853 to 1855, with a LARA goldsmith's mark (P-454.0), attributable to Luís António Rodrigues de Araújo. A very rusty foot. Rusts, scratches, dents and small defects. (4) Approx. total weight: 2594 g.; Max. Alt. approx.: 20 cm.
