`Granstryom's wonderfully illustrated book features stories from the lives of great men ``Schiller and Goethe`` - three stories from the history of German literature to introduce you to the life and work of Germany's greatest poets, who ranked among the first in world literature'.

Granstryom's publisher produced mostly expensive gift editions of foreign literature for children and young people. These included works of F. Burnett, L. Boussenard, L. Carroll, Z. Topelius and others. Translations from foreign languages were done by E. A. Granstryom himself, as well as his wife and daughter. In all, the publishing house published about 50 titles. It ended its existence in 1916. E. Granstryom's books are a collector's item.

In good preservation. Minor binding scuffs, tampered bottom corners, noticeable stains on the flyleaf.
