On the Shas, three sections in one volume, separate cover for each section. The third cover has red and black ink. Printed by Zikaron Shlomo, Jerusalem 1891-1894. Page before the cover has a note of ownership handwritten and stamped by “Ben Zion Meir Hai Uziel in Jerusalem.” Section 1, page 16(1) is a gloss in his handwriting. Rav Ben-Zion Meir Hai Uziel (1880-1953) was the first Chief Sefardi Rabbi of Israel. Studied under Rav Yaakov shaul Alisher—the Yesha Bracha, wrote many halachic books, and was one of the most influential Ravs of his generation. | Stamps.
