Likutei Amarim Tanya by the Admor Hazaken. Printed by Note Wasserman and his brother-in-law Yisrael Avraham ben Yaakov Segal - Jassy, 1843 One of the rare editions of the Tanya. An approbation by Rabbi Yosef Landau Av Beit Din of Jassy was added for the first time in this edition. One of the first Hebrew books that were printed in Jassy, Romania.
This edition suffered from harassment by the Romanian censor; in several places, the words אומות העולם were replaced with עכו"ם and in Igeret HaKodesh, an entire passage was omitted by order of the censor. See more in the Bibliography of Tanya Editions by Rabbi Yehoshua Mondhsine, 15.
