19th C.American Oil Portrait on canvas mounted on masonite, Portrait of Mary Todd Lincoln. Circa 1847-1850.purchased from the Estate of Ned Bullian in Palm Beach, Fla. during the 1970.s. Clement Conger was interested in this portrait for The White House. Attrib. to Samuel B. Morse. Jean H. Baker, a biographer of Mary Todd Lincoln cited that the clothing worn in the portrait is appropriate for Mrs. Lincoln and in her opinion the portrait is of Mrs. Lincoln. Needing restoration and showing previous restoration. Please see photos. Canvas size: 30in. x 24.5in.
