A Thai Niello Four Legged Compote
A circa 1870 example with four elephant head form legs and elaborate decoration overall. For a similar example see lot 2596 in Thomaston Place Auction Galleries, August 24th, 2019 sale.
Dimensions: 11 1/4" in diameter, the height is 7 3/4".
Condition:
General wear and dents overall. Missing the four nuts at the base, therefore the base is loose to the legs.
