A French Patinated Bronze Model of Venus de Milo, After the Antique, F. Barbedienne Foundry, Paris, Early 20th Century. The base incised 'F. BARBEDIENNE. FONDEUR.' and with Collas Réduction Mécanique pastille. Raised on a Rouge Griotte marble plinth.
Dimensions: Height of bronze 26in; Height overall 30in.
Provenance: Property from a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Collection.
Condition:
General marks, wear, rubbing and toning to the bronze. Typical dust and surface dirt accumulation to crevices. The marble base with scattered fleabites and small chips along edges and corners.
