Chinese Gilt and Black Lacquer Cabinet - A Chinese Black Lacquer Cabinet, 19th/20th Century. The paneled doors decorated with oval reserves of figures in a traditional garden, within carved giltwood spandrels, enclosing an open interior with two short drawers above a single removable shelf. The reverse of each door painted with a bird amongst blossoming trees. Dimensions:  Height 32in; width 32in; depth 19in. Condition: Structurally sound. With heavy wear throughout to top, sides and along edges. Abrasions, scuffs, surface scratches, flaking and losses to decorated surface. Toning and darkening to the hardware.
