A Very Rare Division One Glass In Copper Button
1 Large 18th century copper and glass button.
This lot is from the collection of Harry Case of Missouri, who by the way, has been known in the button world to have one of, if not the best copper "colonial" button collection in the world. This button is an incredible not readily found example of 18th century coppers. The opalescent glass in the center is set onto the 8 sided, heavily engraved copper base with a silver pin top. The opalescent glass in this case is foil backed and in fine condition. An incredible button to add to your growing 18th century collection.
Issued: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918
Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above
