18 Booklets Collection - War Graves of Palestine - WWI
The War Graves of the British Empire. 18 Booklets listing the names of dead British soldiers in Palestine during WW1, the cemeteries and maps. The collection includes nine booklets covering cemeteries in Palestine (1-30). Two booklets cover soldiers whose burial place is unknown; Six booklets cover Egypt (1-19), and one booklet covers Lebanon and Syria. Printed between 1924 to 1931. Two booklets are modern prints from the 1980s and the 1990s, apparently to complete the set. Compiled and Published by order of the Imperial War Commission, London.
Approximately 20X25cm. Condition varies, good average condition, wear.
