• Pruzbul signed by R. Moshe Aryeh Freund, R. Yisroel Moshe Dushinsky and R. Avrohom Dovid Horowitz of the Eidah Ha’Chareidis in Yerusholayim.
R. Yitzchok Yaakov Weiss was born in Galicia, and relocated with his parents to Munkacs during World War I. Known from a young age as outstanding Talmid Chochom he received Semicha from R. Chaim Elazar Schapiro (Minchas Elazar), and R. Meir Arik. He served as Rov in Grosswardein, miraculously surviving the Holocaust. Following the war he immigrated to Manchester, England, where he was appointed Dayan and Av Beth Din, where he remained until 1970. At the suggestion of the Satmar Rov, he joined the Eidah HaChareidis and upon the passing of the Satmar Rov in 1979, he became the head of the Eidah Ha’Chareidis. His responsa published in the multi volume Minchas Yitzchok were received to great acclaim.
