Unique collection of thirteen volumes of the novella of R. Moshe Sofer, (Chasam Sofer), on the Talmud.
In addition to his rabbinical duties the Chasam Sofer also led great Yeshivos first in Mattesdorf and then in Pressburg. In that capacity he taught hundreds of distinguished talmidim, many of whom became great rabbinical leaders. His novella on Shas published posthumously consist primarily of the shiurim he delivered to his talmidim and remain classics of Torah scholarship.
