Zikaron Zos. Chozeh of Lublin. First Edition. Warsaw 1869
Chassidic commentary to the weekly Torah portions by R. Yaakov Yitzchok Horowitz, the famed Chozeh of Lublin.
R. Yaakov Yitzchok Horowitz (1745-1815), was a talmid of the Maggid of Mezritch, R. Elimelech of Lizhensk and R. Shmelke of Nikolsburg. He served as Rebbe in various cities, most notably Lublin, after which he is known. He merited the title of Chozeh, which means seer or visionary because of many “miracles” which evidence the Chozeh’s acute perception.
Stefansky Sifrei Chassidus 204. Shriftgisser press. [2], 74 pages. 23 cm. Overall fine condition. Some tape enforcements and wear to the first and last pages. Antique binding (reinforced spine).
Opening bid $200
