79mm x 79mm. Beautiful, large Godet and Sohn, Berlin back plate on the reverse. Beautifully made and with large mounting pin and two small hooks on the reverse. The order was instituted on founded on January 13, 1879 and is awarded for humanitarian work in Liberia, for acts supporting and assisting the Liberian nation and to individuals who have played a prominent role in the emancipation of African Americans and the pursuit of equal rights.
