Extremely rare book! "Tavnit Ot Yosef". With a title page decorated with an engraving, with a unique figure on its lower part.
Printed in the book are Halachic novellae by Rabbi Yosef ben Avigdor of Chentshin. The book was printed in Frankfurt an der Oder in [1752].
Appearing on the title page of the book is the stamp of Rabbi Meir Spitz Av Beit Din of Bistritz, who perished in the Holocaust in 1944.
The author is Rabbi Yosef Margaliyot, Av Beit Din of Ostrovatza. He was one of the richest men in Poland yet also a great scholar. Served as an unpaid Dayan in Lublin. Was one of the leading Hassidim of Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak Horowitz, the "Seer of Lublin".
