Piskei Halachot by R. Menachem of Recanati. Bologna: Silk Weaver's Guild, [1538]. First edition.
The author, R. Menachem son of Binyamin Recanati (1250-1310), was an early Italian Kabbalist. The present work, comprising his halachic rulings, served as an important source for halachic authorities of subsequent generations.
Signature on the title page (possibly of R. Eliyahu Yisrael Rabbi of Alexandria, author of Kol Eliyahu and Kiseh Eliyahu). Stamp.
[12], 62 leaves. 20.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains and minor wear. Worming, affecting text, repaired with paper (book professionally restored). Inscriptions. New leather binding.
