The first issues of 'Zra'im' Journal of Bnei-Akiva
A collection of the first eight issues of 'Zra'im', the journal of the 'Bnei Akiva' movement.
The first issue was published on 28/9/1935, about a month after the death of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Ha'Cohen Kook. The issue contained parting words from the Rabbi and a letter the Rabbi had sent to the movement. On the issue it is written that it is a "pilot issue".
The issues contained articles about the youth immigration, tutorial articles, words in memory of those murdered in the Arab Revolt of 1936, stories about great rabbis and more. In addition, there are articles written by "the young Moshe Zvi Menkin (under the penname "Neriya") – the would-be founder and head of Bnei Akiva yeshivas.
8 issues, 16 pp each.
Condition: Very good, one page of the first issue is missing.
