On the title page, a handwritten dedication by Rabbi Yosef Joseph Ha'Cohen Shatin of Frankfurt am Main, the son of Rabbi Moshe of Frankfurt am Main, the son of Rabbi Shmuel Shatin of Frankfurt. Rabbi Yosef Shatin served as Av Beit Din of Dobrin, Av Beit Din of the Great Beit Midrash of Głogów and Rosh Av Beit Din of Lissa. The receiver of the book was the Nagid Reb Leib Frankel of Głogów
On page 21, a handwritten theoretical page.
Rabbi Yosef Joseph Ha'Cohen Shatin died 1794 and was eulogized by his relative the "Chatam Sofer" (Derashot Chatam Sofer, pp. 103). See more about him in a letter of the Chatam Sofer (Igrot Sofrim, Igeret 39), who writes that he had known him personally and that he had been his father's cousin. Among his descendants: The Rebbe, Rabbi Chanoch Heynech of Aleksandrow.

Condition: Fair-Good. Wear. The dedication is slightly faded. Tears (with little omission) on the title page and the first leaves. Ownership stamps. The title page is detached.
