DANDRIDGE DOROTHY: (1922-1965) American actress and singer, the first African-American film star to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress. A good vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph, the original MCA Artists publicity portrait depicting Dandridge in a seductive half-length pose.
