A RUSSIAN SILVER BADGE OF THE MILITARY STAFF HEADQUARTERS, CA. 1910
A Russian silver badge from the military staff headquarters marking the graduation from Nikolaevsky Military Academy. The badge is ovoid consisting of two branches: an oak branch on the right and a laurel one on the left. At the bottom, the branches are tied up by a ribbon while the upper ends fork. Between the branches resides the State Emblem representing a double-headed eagle with the scepter and the orb, topped with two small and one big Imperial crowns. Silver hallmarks on the reverse of the ribbon.
