A TURQUOISE GLAZED EARTHENWARE VASE, PERSIA, IRAN, 13C.
Glazed and molded four-handled earthenware storage jar with rope-pattern design, Iraq or Iran, Persian Gulf, dating back to the 12 - 13th centuries. Turquoise glazed earthenware storage jars of this type are an ancient form in the Gulf region.
Dimensions: H: 16 5/8 in., (42.2 cm.)
Condition: Expected signs of wear due to age and use. Encrustation throughout. Some signs of cracking at rim and handles. Oxidation on the stand.
