A RUSSIAN GARDNER PORCELAIN FIGURE OF A PEASANT SALTING BREAD
A Russian Gardner porcelain figure titled "A peasant's dinner", is modeled as a barefoot man sitting on a plinth, his hat at his side holding a handkerchief containing salt, the man's shoes standing on the ground and tied together with rope.
The figure is marked on the verso with the manufacturer's name in red ink and an incised manufacturer's name.
H: 5 1/2 in., (14 cm.)
