Hellenistic statuette of a young lady. Magna Graecia, 2nd century BC. Height 20,2cm. Beige terracotta. Front part made in matrix, details hand-crafted. Girl with melon hairdress and large bun wearing an ivy-wreath and a long chiton girded below the breasts. On the back firing-hole. With certificate of Galerie Günter Puhze, Freiburg, Germany! Head broken and reattached, few leaves of the wreath are missing, otherwise intact. From the old collection of the German History Professor Stefan Skalweit, Bonn.
