Letter of Recommendation Written by Rabbi Baruch Ber Leibowitz Rosh Yeshivas Kamenetz
A long letter of recommendation written for a student, entirely in the handwriting and signature of Rabbi Baruch Dov Leibowitz.
The letter was sent to New York in 1894 requesting that they assist his student, Rabbi Shmuel Salnitza.
Rabbi Baruch Dov Leibowitz (1870-1940) was Rosh Yeshivah of Kamenetz, a prominent student of Rabbi Chaim Soloveitchik, and from the leading pre-World War II Torah scholars.
